The S.I.S. Mentors put on the first S.I.S. Retreat in 2009 for

young ladies ages 11-18 which was a huge success! The youth and

the volunteers made a great impact on our community and the

Atai Orphange in Uganda, Africa through “Giving Back.” S.I.S. now

has events throughout the year to continue bringing positive

leadership into the lives of our little sisters.

This year we want to impact many more of our young people.

Our Vision for the 2010 February “Teens United” Retreat:

    • Simultaneous Retreats for both boys and girls
    • More Churches and Community influence on our youth
    • Bigger Scholarship opportunities for more young people
    • An evening Scholarship Concert and opportunity for the

            Community to “Give Back”

Here is what we NEED from you for the Retreat:

    • A Panel of Men and Women to share testimonies
    • Speakers
    • Assistance recruiting young people to attend
    • Donations of time, food, prizes, donations…

Here is what we NEED from you for the Concert:

    • St. Louis Celebrities to share the importance of giving back

and to present our scholarships to the winners.

    • 3-4 Artists/Groups to perform

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Please contact Jana M. Gamble to help to make a difference!
